1. Quality of Footage: camerawork, mise-en-scene.
Clean and simple
good camerawork
mise-en-scene fits the song
camera work is great - nice lighting
great framing and angles - very appropriate mise-en-scene and lighting
2. Use of Transition: edit types, order.
Good, appropriate use of fades, seemlessly intergated with audio.
in good order
good transitions and fades - flows with music
transitions always go with the music, nice slow fades.
3. Evidence of conventions. Which ones? Which genre?
setting gives good idea of genre.
good conventions - song is about love- relates to video
yellow outfit goes well with song title, setting is also very effective. Lip syncing is perfectly done. fits genre extremely well.
4. What is missing? What needs to be added? Changed?
a few more location shots
could use more close ups
really good and long bridge - could do so much
more in the space
intro could have another shot where walking into distance of path (eg. face)
could use some more shots in general / different shots
